Stream-record files include files such as AAREADME.TXT,Cdocumentation files with extension .TXT, label files with extension.LBL, and source code files.HVAX/VMS systems have problems accessing files that do not have XARs. To Dfacilitate VAX/VMS access to the CDROM, a command file was developed?called CDCOPY.COM. It is located in the VAX subdirectory of theSOFTWARE directory.KCopy the CDCOPY.COM command file from the CDROM with the standard DCL $COPYJcommand ($COPY dev:[dir]CDCOPY.COM *). Then follow the instructions in theLcommand file to copy other files to magnetic disk. Once the command file isNcopied, use CDCOPY to copy the AAREADME.TXT file from the CDROM root directory with the following DCL commands:D$@CDCOPY dev:[000000]AAREADME.TXT * !dev= device name of CDROM driveJ$PRINT AAREADME.TXT !or $EDIT/READ AAREADME.TXT for more information.
