END_OBJECT = TEXT END DATA Directory Contents The DATA directory contains 2001 Odyssey THEMIS standard data products. One or more of the following files are found in this directory. DATAINFO.TXT - The file you are reading. ODTIBVOL.CAT - High-level catalog object for the ODY THM IR-BTR logical volume; only available in the virtual volume. ODTIEVOL.CAT - High-level catalog object for the ODY THM IR-EDR logical volume; only available in the virtual volume. ODTIRVOL.CAT - High-level catalog object for the ODY THM IR-RDR logical volume; only available in the virtual volume. ODTVBVOL.CAT - High-level catalog object for the ODY THM VIS-ABR logical volume; only available in the virtual volume. ODTVEVOL.CAT - High-level catalog object for the ODY THM VIS-EDR logical volume; only available in the virtual volume. ODTVRVOL.CAT - High-level catalog object for the ODY THM VIS-RDR logical volume; only available in the virtual volume. THEMIS Standard Data Products are stored in sudirectories named for the data contents following the pattern "AoooxxPPP". Each subdirectory contains either SPECTRAL_QUBE data files or IMAGE named following the pattern "AooooonnnPPP.EXT". Subdirectory and file name patterns are case insensitive and defined as A is a 1 letter description of the type of image collected; [ I = infrared image; R = infrared reset image ; S = infrared shutter image ; V = visible image ] ooooo is the 5-digit mission orbit number when the data was collected, zero padded oooxx is the first 3 numbers of the mission orbit number when the data was collected, zero padded, followed by a placeholder representing the remaining digits of the mission orbit number nnn is the 3-digit image sequence number indicating the order that images were collected within a given orbit PPP is a 3 letter description of the processing level of the data products; [ ABR = visible apparent brightness record; BTR = infrared brightness temperature record; EDR = raw data; RDR = radiometrically calibrated data ]. .EXT is a 3 letter suffix indicating the PDS file type; [ IMG = IMAGE ; QUB = SPECTRAL_QUBE ]. Each subdirectory that contains raw, infrared data QUBEs also contains a TLM.FMT file which lists the field names contained in the TLM table embedded within the IR-EDR QUBE header. A single text file (NODATA.TXT) will be present if the subdirectory is known to contain no data.
